Breakdowns

If your vehicle breaks down, switch on hazard lights and place a warning triangle at least 20 metres behind the vehicle. Push the vehicle to the side to avoid obstruction.

Accident Reporting (MCF)

In case of an accident:

  1. Exchange Particulars: Name, NRIC, Phone, and Insurer.
  2. Take Photos: Capture the scene, own vehicle damage, and other vehicles’ license plates .
  3. Report: Call your insurer’s hotline and report the accident within 24 hours, regardless of damage severity.

Vehicle Security

To prevent theft:

  • Lock and Leave: Remove ignition keys, wind up windows, and lock doors even for short stops.
  • Valuables: Do not leave cash cards or valuables exposed.
  • Motorcycles: Use handle locks and consider additional locking devices like disc locks.
