The Keep-Left Rule
Keep well to the left of the road unless overtaking or turning right. Do not hog the middle of the road.
Speed Limits

Lane Discipline

- On a three-lane carriageway, the outer (right-hand) lane is only for overtaking and emergency vehicles.
Overtaking
- General Rule: Always overtake on the right.
- Exceptions: You may pass on the left if the driver in front is turning right or in slow-moving traffic queues.
- Prohibitions: Do not overtake at pedestrian crossings, road junctions, corners, or brow of a hill .
- Safety: Never overtake unless you can do so without endangering yourself or others.
